-Do I get my medical exam done and send in the results with my paper application or wait until the medical exam is requested?
-Do I get my fingerprints taken now and send them away to the US FBI for my police certificate before I send my paper application or at the same time I send in my fingerprints to the US FBI?
-Can I have my immigration photographs taken by any professional photographer (such as the photo people at Walmart)?
Thanks so much in advance. Any information at all is greatly appreciated!
if this is for a spousal sponsorship, then yes you have to have the medical and police clearance attached to the file when you send it in. We took the specs to Walmart and had the photos done, they have the proper settings on their passport camera, at least here where I live in Canada. Make sure that all of the items on the region specific check list are enclosed. When you get the medical done, the Dr needs to give you a copy of the paperwork to file, and he will send the results to the medical centre for your region....
Thank you so much for the info! Yes, this is for an in-land spousal sponsorship.
I was just recently speaking to someone who said not to get the medical exam until AFTER you get called for an interview or it is requested because the exam will likely be expired (1 year) by the time they get around to processing my application.

The official instructions state that you must send police certificates with the original application package. Always better to follow the official instructions.
