I have applied for PR visa under family membership class - spousal visa in March 2017. My husband is currently staying in Canada and I stay in India. We have submitted all the required documents like background check form, police clearance certificate, medical test. And they have received all the documents. I submitted my medical test on 17th April 2017 and after 8-15 days got a email from cic that, your application is out of Canada now.
And ever since then I did not got any email from cic. And we could not even link our paper application online due to some technical issues from cic. Which, we also confirmed from cic over a call. After waiting for 2 months we called them yesterday to know what is the status of our application then they said that your file is still in Canada at there processing centre.
So now I am confused and worried too. What should I do? When should I expect there next email? What does all this mean?

If you file is still at CPC M the next correspondence may be when it is transferred to the Visa Office. You would get an email notification regarding this. Remember, they are trying to get 80% of applications done within 12 months, so you are still well within processing times.
Have you been logging into ecas?
Try not to stress.
