I applied for the sponsorship for my wife of 2 months and now we are having some heated argument when the reality kick in. I am not sure if this will work out. I am thinking that I need to withdraw the sponsorship before it is too late.
So when would be the last chance for me to withdraw the sponsorship?
On their website, they say you can withdraw anytime before my wife obtain PR status.
What does that mean?
I read from some really old thread that it would have been too late once she get her VISA from VISA office.
And some other post here said that my last chance would be during the landing meeting with officer.
More information would be appreciate.
Incorrect. Sponsorship can be withdrawn at any point before the applicant actually lands as a PR. There was a case a few years ago where the applicant was on the plane to Canada to land when the sponsor withdrew.
