When is the expiry of LMIA / LMO?

If my work permit is still valid, can it be said that i had also a valid LMO / LMIA?

The expiry date on LMO is "apply for work permit no later than", and is also stated on the LMO approval that the work permit being applied is for a job till 3 years after. I applied for work permit within the allowed period and got it.

So the "opinion" in the LMO (Labor Market Opinion), approved me to work for three years. As of now, work permit is still more than one year valid.

Am i still required to get a new LMO/LMIA in the Express Entry System? My opinion is ; the validity of the LMO/LMIA is the same as the work permit.

I'm pretty sure LMO is only 6 months valid. We had a work permit for 3 years based on LMO but our employer is in the process of getting a new LMIA for the Express Entry.

LMO is valid only for 6 months but your work permit starting date should be in between of LMO start & Opinion(they use this word) expiry date.

LMO now LMIA is valid only for 6 months. Your work permit should issue between LMO issue date & Opinion(they use this word) Expiry date.
You are good for EE if your work permit was issued before Opinion expiry date. Work permit expiry would be different & it would be as it was raised initially(2 or 3 years).
