ECU - Pending: PPTs X 4, MEDS X 4, RPRF X2
Looks like my assessment is almost done. So what is meant by ECU pending? Will I get my medicals at all? I have changed my employer recently and have not informed NDVO yet. Should I inform NDVO now? Is the background check still on? Any reply on this would be much appreciated!
With no disrespect to Captain Qorax, I dont approve off his views on ECU , that files are sent there to re-assess to reduce the inventory !!
I did read on a LVO thread that all economic class applications go through ECU coz thats what they specialize in.
Now, would the CIC need a special division just to reject and help reduce the inventory ?
Isnt the CIC already doing it to many a LVO ( mostly Pakistan applicants ) on basis of JD mismatch..

hi, the application goes through different levels of approval.
ECU is the final stage and then the MR is requested when all clear is given. (IMHO, nobody can tell for sure what these are but for people working for CIC )

Yes I agree with you Maran........ECU is not secret or sinister.......I guess they decide when is the right time to issue MR to applicants and its the final stage before issuing MR
