Thats right. We filed our sponsorship application some days ago. Also they can send me "home" anytime as the 6 months extension can be revoked if they want to. If I get another extension is unknown as always but as I depend on my wifes support it should be OK to let me wait here until PR has been decided.
Besides this my first extension was given based on the fact that we are very low on money and had to save up months to afford the sponsorship costs. I tell CiC the truth about our situation and it worked so far.
