I just received the PCC of my mother for her PR. It says she is allowed for "Employment, Employment Visa and Work Permit for Canada" instead of "Immigration purposes Other than Citizenship". I read her application again to check if I selected the correct option, and I did select the right option of Immigration Other than Citizenship.
Has anyone faced this issue or commented on this? Do I need to get the PCC again? The due date to submit the document is first week of Jan.
@legalfalcon Can you please advise on the same? Clearly applied for Immigration purposes other then citizenship and when received pcc it was updated to long term visa/stay. At psk they asked for what purpose you need we mentioned need for Canada PR
I got my PCC from Passport Seva Kendra, Bangalore. To me, both "Immigration Purposes Other than Citizenship" and "Residence Permit" are okay. I chose "Immigration Purposes Other than Citizenship" when filling up and paying online. But at the PSK, the lady at counter A said that for Canada PR, choose "Residence Permit". She changed it herself in the system. And the letter I received specifically mentions clearance for CANADA. So choose one of these.
