I got a mail from IRCC which asks for the following information for me and my spouse
✓ Date of last time you entered Canada (YYYY/MM/DD):
✓ Location of last entry (which Canadian border or Canadian airport):
✓ Are you currently inside Canada (yes or no):
✓ If you are not inside Canada
o When is your expected return date (YYYY/MM/DD):
o In which country are you currently located:
I am living in Canada.
My spouse is also currently in Canada (visiting but will be traveling back to USA in a week).
Should I indicate yes for the question "Are you currently inside Canada" for my spouse ?
1. We want to go through the "Passport Request letter" route for my spouse but does answering "yes" mean IRCC will go with the Portal PR confirmation route ? What should I answer so that IRCC will raise PPR ?
2. Usually within how many days after getting eCOPR for primary applicant living in Canada does the spouse get PPR request letter ?

They are likely trying to establish if your spouse is essentially living in Canada especially if you have listed them as non-accompanying. How long has your spouse been visiting you in Canada?

My spouse arrived yesterday and will be here for about 10 days.
I need to reply to their mail before that.
I have listed as accompanying dependent (but currently not residing in Canada and will not be able to come here for longer period until PR is approved, so want to go with PPR).

Is there any issue?
Does answering yes to the question automatically treat my spouse application as inland application even if we explain the situation?
