I want to get a student visa but I dont have a solid proof that I'll come back..
I have enough money and I got accepted by a canadian college already, but I'm afraid my visa will be denied because I don't have any sufficient reasons to come back home.
I actually want to study and work in Canada legally so that I will be able to get a Canadian Experience Class visa. But if I don't get it, I will come back home cause I want to do everything legally..
I just don't know what to do.. if I tell that to the interviewer he'd probably think I'm just lying and I will stay there illegaly after studies.
What can I do? How can I prove him that I'll come back home if I can't get the permanent residence?
Should I lie to him and tell him I just want to study there?
Lliran .. which visa office are you appling for the student visa? You can't really prove that you will be come back uless you have ties to your country - like a spouse or child or some assets in your country. but I don't think that should be a big concern as much as you show that your studies is genuine ..the program you choose should enhance your existing education not repeating it. Also in many visa offices you may need to show an education loan which serves 2 purposes - it confirms that you have the resourses for your study period, your income source do not need to be verified since the bank would have already done that before they gave you a loan.
Just convince them that you have parents to take care of. You have property here in India and you will get a good job after your education in Canada. This way you can prove your home ties.
Each case is different. Can you clarify 1. what you have studied to date and which program you have admissions in... 2. Do you have an education loan and if so for what amount .. 3. did you pay your fees - atleast 1st semester 4. what other sources of funds or assets do you have 5. are you single or married
Unfortunately the only way to find out is by applying but make sure you have a good explanation and cover ALL the requirements.
I am a CSIC member with a new office in Kochi.
