WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP AFTER PAYING THE RPRF FEE.

I am already in Canada. I'm done with my medicals and everything else, recently paid my RPRF fee.
I was just wondering whats is the next step and how long does it take for it?

The request for passport do they send an email for it as well or they send documentation in the mail?The reason i am asking this is I cant trust my landlord to give me the letters. So far all the communication with CIC was through Emails.
