That article is pretty old but from my what I can understand, it seems like you would then choose two different positions under the same company and hence show two NOCs/ I dont think it works the way you are trying to use as a secondary NOC to support your primary job if that makes sense.
never heard of one position under multiple NOCs. not sure how that is filled in the EE profile because there's only one field
As for the points in the page you sent, it's about one NOC per job. If you change careers you can have job 1 - noc 1 and job 2 - noc 2.
for the second point, as i understand it, is that if your job 1 matches noc 1 or 2 you can choose either. that's how i see it anyways

the way I see it, I think the article says it is allowed to do this:
Company A - Engineer - NOC 1234
Company A - Engineer Manager - NOC 4321
both under the same experience letter for their respective duration. but I'm speculating here..

I have a question about this as well.
I worked from March 2013 - February 2014 and then I had to leave Canada to get another Visa and came back to work from April 2014 - February 2015. I worked over 3500 hours during this time. Will this not count as 1 continous year? It was with the same company under the same NOC...

Its about point no 3 where they clearly say if duties are overlapping then we can apply under both. Now how do we decide how many duties qualify for "most of the duties" and when it ceases to qualify as is the case with selecting just one NOC.

there is option to add work ex under various NOCs in express entry profile. Its not to support the primary NOC but to include every duty that I had performed in the office using two NOCs. And my duties match 30% with one NOC and less than that with the second NOC

also i have a friend who applied under two NOCs and got ITR and PR as well. The only question what percentage of duties are minimum to not be disqulified for misrepresentaion. As there is no mention of this anywhere on any website. They just say 'most of the duties' . You asked me to target 60%. Well if thats not happening can I not apply under that NOC?
Also there is a list of duties performed. Could you find any other NOC that could be picked.
