No updates as such. I just saw the last updated date change in the PR portal yesterday.
It is a spousal PR application, Passport reached IRCC on 19th Feb.
hi Arun , my application was approved on 6th march and my passport was received at IRCC on 11th March, I have an upcoming flight ( to another destination ) on 12th April and need my passport. There has been no update from IRCC or tracker regarding counterfoil . Would you suggest that I raise a webform for withdrawing my application. I want my passport back urgently. Thanks.

Hey @arun1995 I think you've done a way better job than me in terms of tracking. Do you know if IRCC processes passports in batches? I saw a ghost update - "Last Updated" date changed to 24th March in the PR portal, Nothing in GC Key. Do you know what can I expect?

Thank you. Can you check if your Portal shows application as closed? Ideally by now you should have received an update on gckey today with your application approved.

I just checked the PR Portal again - it still says the application is in Progress. The only thing different now is the "Last Updated" date is 24th March.
On GCKey, I see no updates whatsoever.
My question now is since something changed in the backend, can it be possible that we aren't seeing any concrete changes because the final changes are made in batches? Maybe I can expect something when they batch process passports?

I don't think they are doing it in batches, but they are doing it date-wise. From the trend posted here, on the previous day of dispatch, GCkey updates with the Final decision approved. Then, you will receive a dispatch notification the following day. Also, on the dispatch day, the portal updates the application status as closed (previously in progress).

The thing is I already see a document number in the PR portal which starts with T. I know we've talked about this before, you mentioned that the counterfoil numbers start with T. Is this the counterfoil number? Should I still see the counterfoil update in GCKey?

We receive a counterfoil number on the PR portal when we receive FD or the following day. However, on the GCkey, you will see the counterfoil number and the application status approved one day before the dispatch day.
