I worked for a very large company in India. When I applied for immigration, I gave experience letter from my Vice president stating his mobile number and business card. Now he left that company and moved to Saudi. I am just wandering what will happen to my employment verification if the Seattle embassy will call on that cell number. May be this is the reason for delay in processing of my application. Do I need to give number of my another VP or something else. Please advise...
I had a somewhat similar situation at my current company
my boss wrote me a letter saying i was employed etc... but then he resigned. I got my new boss to write a letter saying something like "[old boss] wrote a letter dated [date] explaining David's employment situation. I have replaced [old boss] from [date] and wish to confirm the details in that letter"
if it is a former company, maybe you can contact their HR department, and get a contact from them. Then maybe you could write to the visa office and explain the situation, that this bloke has resigned and there is a new contact who can verify your employment if required.
Thank you so much David for your help. I alredy contacted my other seniors who worked with me. If he will give me his contact number that will be great. Do I need to give another letter from him and his business card because that will be tough as I am in Canada and my company is in India. I think I can write a letter to visa officer explaning the situation and giving him the contact number and designation of the new boss. what you think.

I am not principal applicant but I have a reference letter from job during 1989 and because that bussiness is now closed and owners who knows where, how can I provide them with recent reference letter for that job? What is done in these situations?
