Can someone help me please?
My friend had a spousal interview overseas. Things seemed to have gone well. They told her they were going to let her know of the answer soon. It has been over 4 weeks that she hasn't heard back from anyone. Is this normal? At first the officer had doubts about the genuineness of the marriage but seemed to loosen up a bit when she saw from the evidence provided that the sponsor had traveled to see his wife twice. I just want to know how long is normally the wait after the interview, also the medicals will expire soon. If anyone can help us, we'd greatly appreciate it...thanksssssss
This is a hard question to answer it can be a week or longer. From my understanding although I guess every office is different, they normally give you an answer on the spot following an interview.
I was told that I would receive my passport in 15 days following the interview as they were satisfied with my relationship after meeting with us.
Which Visa Office was the interview at? Did she leave her passport with them? How is the postal service there? Maybe they want the medicals redone before issuing the visa...(which of course they should ask for, if that's what they want.)
my wife had an interview on Nov 24 2010 , they told here she will find out the answer within 6 weeks and now 5 months have gone by and still no response back. I email Singapore Visa Office on Feb 2011, and still waiting for their response. I don't know how much longer do i have to wait?
