What Happened to Husband on Visitor visa if wife got her PR

Hello All,

I was on work permit in Canada and recently got COPR. I have included my both kids in the application and husband was not included since he wants to go back to India. So all 3 of us got COPR now. My husband was here with me on Visitor Visa since I was on Work Permit. Now Since we got PR how long my husband can stay here in Canada or his visitor visa will be revoked since I got my PR and he was dependent on me.

You said he’s not included in your PR application so why would his temporary visa get revoked? For visitor visas, you’re allowed to stay at most for 6 months - his max stay should be indicated in his passport. If you wish to extend his stay, then you’d have to apply for extension. If he wishes to stay permanently, then either he apply for EE on his own or you sponsor him.
