I'm in the process of paying my fees online, however i'm confused as to what fees I need to pay? I'm sponsoring my wife with whom i currently live outside of Canada and do I pay my fees in the "Family Class" Category or the "Spouse and Common Law Partner In Canada Class" Category?
Are you sure? it says the following for this class
"The Spouse or Common-law Partner in Canada Class
If you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and live with your spouse or common-law partner in Canada, you may apply to sponsor your spouse or common-law partner’s application for permanent resident status. "
I think the only difference is.. Canadian Citizen can sponser their spouse even if they are not living in Canada but a permanent resident has to be in Canada in order to sponser his/her spouse.
Oh no, I already made a payment under the "Spouse and Common Law Partner In Canada Class" and i just noticed some errors in my application which i have not sent by decided to send in tomorrow which i won't be able to, what does that mean in regards to may payment if i send it a few days after my payment has been made will that screw things up or won't matter? anyone help please.
Nowhere does it say you can't pay ahead of time. We paid two weeks before sending the application, it's no biggie. Maybe if you waited a year, it could be an issue, but for a few days (even weeks), it's no problem at all.
we paid our fees a few months in advance too, there was no problem - they just want to see your money, and the only thing that matters is that if the fee doesn't come together with your application, they sent it back to you until you pay.
