what exactly AOR is?

hi guys,
what exactly is AOR? What they state in AOR?
can u jus tell me what's the process after AOR till PR Aproved? (like what step full application to send? when to send ppc? when medical requested? when passport requested?

AOR = Acknowledgement of Receipt (for apps outside Canada).In other words, it means the file number. Hope this helps.

when happens..Full Application? PCC? interview If required? medicat?
Can anyone specify this steps in order?

Dear vishals_me,
AOR confirms that they receive your application. You can check your application staus in e-CAS with the file number given in AOR.

Step 1 : They will check whether you NOC code in the 38 job list; your eligibility (67 points required) etc.

step 2: If you are eligible, you will be asked full application with relevant documents within 120 days. If you fail to sent them within the mentioned time they will refuse your application.

Step 3 : after verifyinfg the documents, and if everything ok they will ask you for the medicals. & PCC.

Step 4 : when they accept you as an immigrant on principle, they will ask your bank statement.

Step 5 : they will tell you to send passport(s).

Step 6 : you may get visa.

I have heard (not so sure) that CIC is trying to omit the interview as it is troublesome and time consuming. So, send your documents very carefully and do not miss anything they require.

I apologize if I miss anything or wrong in the order of the steps.

I am not sure about the eligibility part, as per my understanding CIC Nova Scotia will only check the NOC code. Actual verification will take place at local Visa office of the country.

If I am not wrong, we have to submit PCC and proof of fund (bank statement etc) with the full documents after response from Sydney. Then medicals and passport request for PR.

I just send the application today.
Should I start preparing to get PCC or shud i start when I get AOR?
When can I go for Medical? Can I go anytime to their listed doctors or I can go only after they ask for it?

You can start the process for PCC, for medicals you have to wait until they inform you to go for it.

Vishal: what do you mean by 'full' application? does that mean including PCCs as well?

If it is so, I too have the same question. Do we need to send PCCs also to visa office after we receive initial approval from Sydney office?
OR will the visa office get back to us later and PCCs need to be submitted along with the medicals?

By Full Application, I mean the photocopies of Originals (which we sent to sydney) with supporting docs.

I submitted my app, received a B# after approx 4 months and after another 2 months asked to submit IELTS score, will I receive another AOR number or is the B# I earlier received is my AOR#.
