LIMA need for guys who living outside the Canada right? If I'm living in Canada through Pgwp, still do I need LIMA job offer?? And you meant to say, once pgwp finished and if no LIMA job offer, so have to go back to our country? There must be options dude
LMIA isn't just for those who are outside of Canada. It's for anyone who wants to work and who does not meet the requirements for an open work permit.
If your PGWP expires and you haven't yet qualified and applied for PR, then your employer would need to get an approved LMIA in order for you to apply for a closed work permit and continue to live and work in Canada.
Alternatively, you can change your status to visitor if you want to remain in Canada for a few more months. Of course this means you would still need to stop working as soon as your PGWP expires.
There are some people who switch back to a study permit after their PGWP ends and take another full time program in Canada. This is also possible for you however you want qualify for another PGWP once you finish your studies. You can only apply for a PGWP once in a lifetime.
According to current guidelines they say only 50% can be done outside Canada but they have not mentioned in case due to COVID-19 course moved to online format. If you able to find anything regarding it will be helpful.
Yes, for PGWP I understood this deadline but what if we study other 50% in Canada but still online classes they said they will still give PGWP but what about Canadian Education 15 points in CRS will they consider online classes in Canada normal one or still distance learning and won't give CRS points in case of online study whether in/outside Canada.
Yes, their twitter handle team has said it will not be given even if its online classes in Canada too but then lot many students won't get CRS score who already doing more than 50% classes online or done already. Maybe they will look into this too like they changed many other rules due to COVID.
