I have received my PR via PNP Alberta and was wondering on how long would I be required to live in the province by law? Also, if I had a job in a different province (ONTARIO) would I be allowed to move immediately? My spouse lives in Ontario- Would that help with reasoning regarding my move to a different city? I know as a Permanent Resident I am allowed to work and live anywhere in Canada. But I'm sure there are conditions to this when going through a PNP and for this reason I would appreciate any help in this matter.

I don't think you have to live there. They didn't ask you to sign any commitment letter like NBPNP does. I got AINP and I didn't live there. I have a job in NB and I don't have any plan to move back soon.
