They do send it both the ways. Try to follow up your University. As far as I know, WES gives the standard reply in this case and would not share the email info for secondary verification. Followup with WES if your University does not receive the mail package after a week.

No point asking WES after a week. My university got the mail package after 5 weeks.

So one question....As per WES....they are awaiting secondary verification of my masters degree from my university.... but the last i checked from my university...they told that they haven't received any email as of now....what should i do now

Follow up with WES and university. Same happened with my spouse's ECA. University confirmed that they got the email after 7 weeks.

finally my university got the email yesterday......And i believe they have replied as my status has changed from On hold to In progress....lets see how much time they take it from here

Does, WES starts the evaluation only after receiving the degree certificate sent by the candidate ? In my case, the transcript sent by the university has been received by WES and status is We received your document(s). We are reviewing your document(s). Degree certificate sent by me yet to reach WES.

Usually WES completes by 45-50 days..

In my case, for the other application we had submitted, below is the timeline:
Status updated from on hold to inprogress after secondary verification: 4/16
Evaluation due : 5/7

It takes hardly 2 or 3 days to change status to "evaluation in progress"

60 days to be exact - correct.

It took a month for me!!!

Oh.. for me it took only 3 days. For my spouse it took 2 days. But his secondary verification took almost 2 months. Created WES in Dec 2018 and his report is due for 14/05. Almost 6 months

Depends.... coz for me it took almost a month after they receive the reply from my university.... and few people got that early

Sent a query to WES today and they accepted the documents. The status is updated and it's due on 5/24
