WES web site says

"Your evaluation is due for completion on 6/13/2018" Can I trust this and expect to recieve results on time. So, I can fill my EE.

You cannot - Mine was due on 8 June and these guys put it on hold on 7 June.

Hi @Jaywalker, thanks for guiding me to this thread! My husband is facing exactly the same situation as many have expressed in recent posts on this thread (Status: ON HOLD). I got my WES done as primary applicant 3 months ago and received the report within 6 weeks. In his case, the promised turnaround was even faster, documents received on 10th May and evaluation report expected by 11th June. All of a sudden, a few hours ago, the status changed to ‘On hold’ pending verification by issuing institution. As I could not reach the contact centre on time due to the weekend intervening, I have written in to WES on their twitter handle over a private message on my account and my husband has done as much from his twitter handle. We have also written to our contact at IMT Ghaziabad, the same lady from the academic records section whom we contacted for the sealed transcripts in the first place. Do keep us posted on what happens in your case too!

They don't share the email id to which they have send the request. I will wait for some time and take it from there. I don't think they have anything against MBA's - Probably there must be some one off case (Forged docs etc) that may have happened recently which would have prompted them to be extra cautious especially with PGDM (MBA's).

Yes, it’s a distinct possibility. My husband’s also done his PGDM - from IMT Ghaziabad in his case. Looks like MBA diplomas are under the scanner

My evaluation was due on 8 th June and today I checked the status and it shows that status is "on hold" and they have asked for verification from institution. I was expecting to get into the pool soon and now I got this. I called them as well and the customer rep told me the same thing.

Same for me......Evaluation was due on 12 June , but changed to "on Hold" on Friday, verification from institute pending

Same, my husband has PGDM from INT Ghaziabad and report was due on 6/18 but Friday night status got updated to ON HOLD.

I checked with institute again, but they have not received any email from WES....

WES people are not ready to share any details....not sure how to sort this out...

I have already mailed wes to speed up my evaluation and not to. Put it on hold as this is the common status other candidates are getting on or before completion date. Lets see how it works, the completion date is given 22/06

All,

I have got the ECA for my wife from WES. Her education credentials had her last name as pre marriage name. We have sent the marriage certificate, old passport copy (with pre marriage surname), current passport copy ( with current surname). But in the ECA report they have mentioned Name of credential in her pre marriage surname only. The report is in her current surname. There is also one line which says: The name on one or more of credentials differ from the above name.

Is this ok? or I need to contact WES to change the name? I think this would be the case for many people who change their name after marriage.

Document received: 30 April.
Documents reviewed status: 01 May 2018.
Documents reviewed status again : 08 May 2018.
On hold (All documents accepted excluding engineering transcripts. They need my engineering transcripts again) : 15 May 2018.
Sent documents and received: 19 May 2018 and 23 May 2018.
All documents accepted and evaluation start : 24 May 2018 ( due date 13 June 2018).
Received report : 13 June 2018. ( Status changed from “In progress” to “Completed” directly ( no final review).

Did they give you a reason why they needed the document to be resent ? it seems to me that they just don't have a valid reason for this, thanks.
