WES timeline for 2018

I got an update that it is now under review after I send in an inquiry.

How did you send the inquiry? Through their online portal? What did you ask? My timelines are very much as yours... it would help me

Agree as in our case even after 4 weeks the status states “we are reviewing your documents”.. it should have been “evaluation is in progress”’

Yes same here.
Something has changed.they are delaying cases specifically from India.

I used the contact form, gave my name/email and reference form and asked them whether everything is alright or they needed more info/documents.

It's the first stage documents received.

You probably need to chase up your school for the MBA verification.

I called WES helpline. Their rep told me not to contact school because that might be consider as a breach of trust. As per his opinion this is going to be a secret channel verification and Gujarat university normally replies within 7 working days.
I am not sure if the pricess is meant to be secret then why do they share status with an applicant.
