I just called and was told that the latest update they can tell is that they were handling physical transcripts received between mid and late March 2 weeks ago.
And their office is still not fully functioning yet due to COVID.

Yesterday when i called them, they told me that they are processing april documents now but they couldn't provide me in which part of april they are currently in.

1st of June (they were supposed to be delivered on 28th of May as documents were out for delivery by DHL but DHL rep informed that WES told them they only receive on mondays so it was delivered on 1st of June).
Actually nothing can be done, i called WES three times & raised many webforms but we just have to wait, they told me on the phone yesterday they are still in april documents so still a month of documents at least before they reach june.
I would like to know, in the current situation how long is WES taking to do the ECA. I have seen some people getting it in 2 days but some are still waiting until december.
Can anyone give their update from May or June onwards

My University(of mumbai) has an online portal where I upload the documents and they send it to WES digitally.
They sent the documents on 26th June, which WES acknowledged as complete on 29th June.
Estimated date of assessment is 27th July 2020.
Yes, definitely its ok to upload your original documents. WES will verify your transcripts (which your univ, has sent) with those that are uploaded by you
@Ankurpno I tried this yesterday. The moment I added my transcript, the status changed to “processing” from “on hold”. But like after 2 hours, it went back again to “waiting for documents”. Now the reason for that is “WES received your documents, but it was not sent directly from your institution”.

thanks for your reply. my institute has contacted wes and they already sent the documents through email last week. just wonder how long it will take? and also any verification process from WES and my institute too?
