WES ECA status on Hold

@Jaywalker, sounds like a distinct possibility. However, my husband’s institute also agreed to forward the same mail to the only WES ID that does not return a mail delivery failure: contactca@wes.org as well as send a hard copy of the verified documents under the subject line: Verification Reference # **********. They were also kind enough to forward us the original verification request received, together with their response (with verified documents attached). I’m planning to fax it across to WES (print out of the verification request and the verified documents in response). The verification mail expressly mentions that responses can be sent as a reply to the mail ID (auto-sender@wes.org) or fax to their official number or mail to WES at its physical address.

How do we do Internation FAX ? I need to convince my college admin to do needful .. which i believe they will hardly understand ?

Nopes, he just got the one VDR email, and there was no second alert even when the institute confirmed they had received the email. Another thing, do check if anybody in the institution has received the email, not just the person who’s supposed to. In my husband’s case, the GM of Administration received the email, instead of the Controller of Examinations. Best of luck with getting the email sent - I do feel you’ve been left hanging in there long enough

My husband just got a reply from IMT, that they had received WES email and have send the verification report to them, will wait for 1-2 days and see if the status gets updated on WES account... Do keep us posted on your status

Hi my instInstitried sending verification report by replying on the email received by WES. BUT REPLY EMAIL IS NOT DELIVERED....after one day non delivery mail is popping up to my Institutes email id

Hi @jeethus , check the base of the email. In the signature of the Director of Evaluations, there should be a unique email ID : (a number)@wes.org. Try copying and pasting the mail on a word document if the email ID does not display inline. I’ll let my husband’s institute know of the same (the unique ID for us), as it was otherwise masked as an image. I believe this should be the correct email ID to respond to, instead of auto-sender@wes.org, which is clearly an automated inbox without any individual manning it for responses. Hope it helps! I can understand how frustrating it is to constantly be looking over WES’ shoulder to second guess what we need to do next!

How to identify and make a unique email I'd for verification....I am stuck...my institInshas received mail from WES but on auto sender they are getting bounced back mails.

Hi @nikesh25 , completely identify with your predicament! My husband was in the same situation all of last week - simply because it is not clear to issuing institutions which ID they have to send the verification confirmation to! I’ve looped you in on a separate conversation where the verification email is shared, so you can guide your institute on which ID to send their response to. Best of luck!

The ECA report date continues to be 06/19/18 but I am most skeptical of getting anything today There’s just too much of a backlog from what other cases shared on this thread indicate...

Any idea how much time will the postal mail take to reach India. They told me that they had sent the postal mail also through regular post

Looping you in - hope it helps! Regarding postal delivery, I would assume it’s registered post for which delivery won’t take less than 10 business days on the outside. That’s considering DHL is the fastest and still takes 3 business days

Hi, Thank you everyone for sharing update ! It has really helped me to keep calm as I & my husband both are suffering from the same issue.

Our application is on hold by WES. Surprisingly, out institute of post graduation has 3 times submitted the verification but as mail received from WES is auto mailer - the reply email from my institute is getting undelivered.

I have got a intimation from my college about this error.

CAN ANY ONE PLEASE HELP ME KNOW WHICH EMAIL ID my college should reply to for the verification.

It's been more than a month for us but we are not getting any clue
