Hi all,
Regarding your question. The Diploma might be equivalent to a PG, however there is no way for sure until it will be sent. Either way, the credits will help boost your score.
It will be evaluated by WES as a postgraduate diploma (one year) for sure.

Getting a level 8 credential just fulfills a spiritual satisfaction. It's a personal issue of considering= it necessary or not.

Thanks, is it one year undergraduate or full diploma I just don't know which to go with.
Some one else said it will be one year under graduate.
It would just be one year post-secondary ( or you may say undergraduate), it won't be a full diploma, because a full diploma means a total of 3 years.

Out of the curiousity. If you have a bachelor, a level 7 and level8 , the L7 and L8 will be evaluated as two PGs, right?

Actually I cannot confirm your thought, sorry about that.

One of my friends just did an evaluation this year for her level 4 and level 5 diplomas (in one WES report) and the result came back with just:

One year certificate (not even a diploma)

What I guess is, WES only evaluated her higher credential in that case.

For your question, I would guess the result to be:

A bachelor's degree (3 or 4 years)
Postgraduate diploma one year

Hello Guys, I have a problem about my WES ECA,

Here's my level of education

Year 1 - Diploma in Computer Science
Year 2 - Higher National Diploma in Computer Science
Year 3 - UK TopUp degree BSc (Hons)in Computer Science (120 Credits) - Stage 2
Year 4 - UK TopUp degree BSc (Hons)in Computer Science (120 Credits) - Stage 3

Now I'm graduated with BSc (Hons) in Computer Science. To which category will my WES ECA belongs in CRS system?

1 - Bachelor's degree OR a three or more year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute (120 points)
or
2 - Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years (128 points)

Coz my immigration consultant says it belongs to category 2 and I'm bit unsure about it.

Thanks in advance!

It has to be 120 credits. If it's only 60 credits then No.

Thank you for the reply :) , I got the report, but it says like this,

CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMERY

Bachelor's degree (four years).

CREDENTIAL ANALYSIS

1 - Canadian Equivalency : College-level certificate (one year)
2 - Canadian Equivalency : Diploma (Two years)
3 - Canadian Equivalency : Bachelor's degree (four years)

Is this a mistake from WES? Can I be still considered as "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years"?
