Friends am too caught in same situation as WES stated the below. Is there any solution that the below will be considered by any ECA.
I saw one the internet that this course is approved by AICTE

if you are refering to the above post grad MBA, you wont get points.
for diplomad and degree you will get points for one or more degree/diploma

I have heard WES issues report as Non-Comparable if it has no value, here they have given education some value. really confused

Hi All,

My case is also same . I also did 2yrs PGDM from Welingkars .
Just wondering which document do I need to send for Education Credential Assessment.?

1> 12th HSC + 3yrs of (Diploma) ----- { It will show my education as 10+2+3 (Diploma) = 15 Yrs full time Education}
Or
2> 3yrs of (Diploma) documents only.
Or
3> 2yrs PGDM from Welingkars.
Or
All of the above including PGDM distance learning then 10+2+3+2 = 17 Yrs of Education?

Hello,
I did my MBA, which was joint program between Mumbai college and German college.

In this case, which documents (transcripts) will be required by WES for their assessment. I have collected transcripts from both the colleges.
For education in Germany, Diploma Supplement is mentioned in WES document adviser, however no such Diploma Supplement is given by my college as it was joint MBA program between Mumbai and Germany.

Someone experienced similar situation can share their views. Thanks

I am planning to apply for WES and I am a bit confused..Below are my credentials :
1.Bachelor of Engineering : 4 years
2 PGDM E-BIZ : Full Time :2years
I already got transcript copies from my engineering University and Welingkar.
However, Welingkar has not provided the attestation on degree copy. So is it okay if I enclose the degree copy without attestation as I don't live in Mumbai.
I read the previous comments and now I am not sure if my degree will have a recognition or not.Please suggest.
Also, if anyone has already completed the WES process, please suggest whether I should go for standard delivery or international courier option.
I am planning to pay the fees tomorrow.

Hi,

I just received my WES evaluation and I am extremely disappointed that Welingkar's Institute is not recognised and all courses done from this institute has no Canada equivalency. WES recognises only NAAC "A" accredited institutes which Welingkars does not have.


Make sure before you enrol with any B school check if they are accredited and don't fall in trap of their glossy brochures.

I seem to have wasted my time and money.

It is not that the institute is not recognized. The institute is not recognized for the course you took. A distance learning scm course is not aicte approved and hence the eca outcome. In my case i did a 2 year full time pgdm in business design and my eca came back as recognised and equivalent to 4 years Canadian bachelors.

If your degree certificate has aicte approved written on it you should be fine the posts where they have recvd unfavorable eca is cuz of distance, hybrid, part time programs which don't have aicte approval.
