I reside in Dubai, UAE and would be applying for my Indian education assessment with WES, Canada. As per their website its mentioned
DELIVERY METHODS
Standard Delivery (by Canada Post) Cdn. $7
Courier Delivery (details): International Courier Service (per address) Cdn. $85
Which means by Post is very very cheap , just Canadian Dollar 7 whereas by Courier its very very costly.
Will it be good idea to get Original Report by POST?
Since CIC will have access online to ECA Report what is the need for the applicant to have Original Hard Copy
Can some one guide as the costs difference is very huge

I reside in India, and used the standard delivery method for both my and my wife's evaluations.
I received the hardcopy in less than 10 days for both. Note that you only need the softcopy to start your EE application - so in case there's a delay in getting the hardcopy you're not at a loss and can always request for a courier in the worst case anyway.
I requested regular mail, over a month and a half ago and it never arrived, probably lost in mail or whatever, you can't yrack it. I'll probably request another hard copy by courier
