On January 9th, 2020 there was an update on my application:
“We are processing your background check...”
I was under the impression that a medical exam was requested before a BGC. I haven’t received a request for a medical so far. Any clarity on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, did you get your pr? I have submitted mine in 2019 Feb, my husband’s sponsership got approved in July 2019, they finished my background check in June, now they are still reviewing my eligibility.

No, unfortunately not yet. It has been in process for over 17 months and I haven’t received an update since october 2019. I believe because of the pandemic everything has been delayed
