Background check IP1 or IP2

Hello everyone. I applied in Oct 2018 got medical request in November, Medical passed in December. I have not heard from cic since then they sent me a progress bar on March 6th 2019. The progress bar says the application will be completed in 6 months that will be Oct 4th 2019. My eligibility has never changed since the day of application but the background changed to the one below.

Also on my timeline it says
REVIEW OF ILLEGIBILITY: Your application is in progress we will send you a message when we start reviewing your illegibility.
BACKGROUND CHECK: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Do background check come before illegibility ? And what stage could this be. Mine seem to be odd.

any help will be much appreciated.

Yes I applied in September. Once my medical was complete, they started processing my background check. Eligibility comes later. I am now waiting for my landing interview so you can probably expect some communication from them soon

Is landing interview the last process before you become PR? If thats the case yours went by pretty fast.

Yes it is the last step. Most of the September applicants on the forum are at a similar point
