Was I suppose to send my kids passport copies that were born outside Canada?

So I didn't list my kids under dependents cause they are US born and got their proof of Canadian citizenships. I hope that was right. I only listed them under the other section about other additional family members. I did send them a copy of their proof of Canadian citizenship cards...but i didn't give them a copy of their passports...was I suppose to? I already sent it off but been thinking of it lately. Thanks.
My wife and I sent our son's proof of citizenship certificate (certified copy - notary at consulate) and a copy of his passport application receipt. We only included this as further proof that we have every intention of raising our son in Canada (and we also listed the reasons why we want to raise him there - education, health care, environment, etc). We also included a notarized copy of his birth certificate.
When we were finalizing the applications and supporting documents, we wanted to ensure that we included all relevant documents that may be requested at a later date. Why? We don't want any unnecessary delays...I have a job I need to start before October 2013...and I want to get back ASAP so I can begin (it's basically double what I make here in China - and it's in my field - engineering).
Don't worry, Lemondrop, your case is solid and you will not have any trouble getting the visa. Seriously, there are many cases where the circumstances are questionable, and those folks had no issues...so for you, the visa is just waiting to be stamped in the passport.
BTW, we got our son's passport today!!! Yay! We are very happy this is over...one more thing to check off our checklist!!!
That's great you got the passport! Feels good when you get a step closer to living in Canada. I was looking for a post of yours to me about how you were sure you have to land before your medical is expired. I can't find that now. But I will do some searching on this site to see if i can find my old post about that cause I got alot of responses that you have about half year to a year to land after getting the approval. Maybe i'll post the question again.
That was also great that you added the reasons why you want to move to Canada for your son...better environment, etc. I mainly mentioned about my family and extended family in Canada as well as the multiculturalism that I love in Toronto and want our children to experience it like I did.
