Waiting on LMIA - resoration of status

I lost my work status in Jan. 2018 because my work permit was refused. I found out my paperwork for LMIA was not sent out until 3 days after loosing my status. I stayed as i'm planning to apply for restoration of status next week. The only thing is the lady i hired to help me with the LMIA paperwork called and it's still "pending", its been just over 2 months. What should i do? Im afraid ill apply for restoration of status and that will also be refused because theres still no approved LMIA. Does anyone have advice or has been in a similar situation? Thanks. *(Also want to note I'm from the USA. Moved here in 2012. Student visa 2 yrs, post graduate open work visa 3 yrs, and now have been trying to renew a work visa for family I work for, but got rejected because LMIA was not in application.)
