Still no PPR...

Looks like it's been sitting in IP2 since. I am a paper based PNP inland applicant.

Anyone knows how long I still have to wait ( Or at least approximate) ?
Also, is it worth applying for Express Entry too at this point?

Hi All,
What is the criteria for one to be put into security screening? Upon calling IRCC the agent told me that every applicant goes through it. But what I cannot understand is how most of the applicants clear it in 1 -2 days while rest takes more than an year. What checks are actually being performed?

Hi everyone

I could not find a right thread for my question so I m asking it here:

I logged into my account today and my profile which used to say "submitted" changed to "updated" and I noticed my back ground check is saying "we are processing your background check we will send you a message if we need more information".

I am not sure whether BG has changed or it was same before. Also I have not received any email regarding any update in my account. I have done upfront medicals and I have not passed the medicals yet either.

So I m confused what is happening to my profile.

Sorry for this awkward question!

My timline is also undergoing similar way. I have passed my medicals on Aug 17, 2018 , whereas bg check started on July 25, 2018. My timeline is as below:
AOR: JUNE 19
IP1: JUNE 19
IP2: JULY 25
MEP: AUG 17
PPR: waiting

Occupation: Professor at University, Computer Department
Nationality: India
File applied with whole family which includes my wife and son
VO: no idea, (Can you let guide me how to check this)

second medical done in 19 september 2018
MEP 30 september 2018
and still waiting , i received two Emails one telling me my background check are done , and the second one telling me i am on the final queue for finalisation , and still waiting
how many days i need to wait ? i am really disapointed
