Waiting for Student Visa Applied under General Category Jan, 2015 intake.

Hey All,

I have applied for student visa under general category, my first application under SPP got rejected, with not very concrete reasons. Now i have applied under General on 13th November, 2014 with all the extra documentation and new SOP justifying the concerns the visa officer had raised. I have not yet received any update from the VFS. For SPP i had received dispatch mail within a weeks time. But its been a week now after applying again under general.
How much time does General Category take??
Anyone with similar status..??
Are there possibilities they would reject my application again??

i think you will be OK .. usually they reject the application when they feel un-sufficient funds to support studies... good luck....

i also got rejection firat time. again i have applied on 19 th Nov my file was processed at Banglore CHC..waiting for reply ..finger crossed

Thanks @pNick I have reapplied showing funds also, apart from that justified points in my new SOP.
@jalpesh i have reapplied again on 13th November. All the best to you too.. Do update if you get any news.

I was also rejected under spp first time then i re applied on 21 november online and got email from them to send my passport on 25 november.
you will get ur visa dude..goodluck

i applied for study permit on 30th october under general category for jan 2015 intake. till date i have not received any reply. after two weeks of applying i got a call from embassy to mail them sme document which i did but after 2 weeks fem that also i have not received any mail or anything. the satus is also under process.

i am really worried now.
please suggest.!

Hey what document did they asked you? How did you submit the documents? Dont worry you will get Visa!

they asked me for study permit questionnaire and told me to mail it.!

I applied online on Nov 5 general cat
got email to do my medicals on the next day
after a week another email that i have passed medicals

And no new emails from them after that
