General student visa filing (Jan 2015 Intake)

hi Everyone,

I recently got rejection letter for my student permit application to canada (Jan Intake).
I had applied under SPP to HR certification course to seneca college.

IELTS score - 7 bands , no less that 6.5 individual.
Masters in Social Work
2.5 years of experience as HR

Now i have to apply under General category.

Whats the difference?
What more documents I have to add?
Total Student load is 30k CAD - How much bank balance should i have to have success in 2nd attempt.

Please help me out seniors.

Student loan ~ 26k CAD.

1 year course.
Application from India- Ahmedabad Embassy.
