Waiting for Passport Request

hello everyone, we got an email today from Buffalo,NY visa office that our file has been transferred to Los Angeles consulate. Does anyone know if this is a good thing (read: faster processing)?

bakit daw...wala pang reason na nakalagay...baka loaded msayado ang buffalo visa office

thanks anajoreen, sana nga mapabilis. sabi lang sa email is "to expedite processing" of the application daw. e-cas naman walang pagbabago, "in process" pa din

Pag nag renew po ba ng passport dapat magsubmit uli ng notarized copy or wait nalang ang PPR? thanks

no need. when you receive ur ppr and pass ur new passport just enclose the photocopy of your old passport.

hi I'm bigboy, completed our medical 3rd week of July and forwarded by the clinic to CEM 1st week of August, till now we're still waiting for the PPR, sent email query to CEM for the status but till now we haven't received reply from them. Still have a problem w/ regards to our passport, what we have is still the green one w/ validity on 2012, do we really need to renew it NOW or just wait first for the PPR and send the green passport then wait for further instructions from CEM? anyone, pls reply. thanks

@bigboy it is better to renew it now, because that is my problem as of now, my PPR arrived last week and i still have green passport, i need to renew it before i'll send it to CEM

what is your passport validity and do you have instruction from CEM that you need to renew/change it to brown passport before sending it to them for visa stamping? thanks.
