my cousin and her family flew to canada may 18 used their greenpassport. I believe its fine as long as its still valid. I called dfa april 1 to renew pp but got june 23 schedule. i received pp request june 9. if i would renew it, it would consume around 15 working days.
I plan to go early september.
I'm happy to those received their PPR and waiting for the passport to get back with a shining sticker Immigrant Visa.. well mine still no update and its five months now sent a fax letter to CEM for follow up last tues June 22 and still no reply...
Para sa mga first timer na pupunta ng Canada be ready emotionally, physically and financially and more adjustment sa food, environment and sa season and i know naman tayong mga pinoy eh fighter kayang kaya natin kahit anong klaseng work to earn a living here ,,, been here na din kc sa canada for almost three years at natimingan ko ang recession last year wow ang hirap halos wala kaming kinita pero naka survived naman but now recovering na ang economy kaya lucky kau mga pupunta dito sa Canada and gudluck...

Don't lose hope, our turn will come soon, let's give more patience and still enjoy what we have here while still in the Philippines. Let's give our support to our newly elected Pres and Vice Pres. Changes in our government system might change but the biggest contributor of changes for good governance will come among ourselves. Doing a little better will make a lot. Go Go! hello everyone...good news for me finally received an email just now ( 6-29-30) here in Canada for PPR after 5 months of patiently waiting god answered my prayer...so for those who still waiting just keep on praying and your time will come soon..
Please can you tell me where can I see the status of applications exept for trackitt web site. Is there any other place?
Also who else is waiting for a reply from New York office?
I sent my PR application in august 2009 in buffulo, done with my medicals at dec.2009, got my file transfered to NYC in jan.2010 and sent them additional info they requested in march. They did not reply to my recent e-mail and I did not hear from them since january. What to do? Is the time line different from the one on the web site?
I already received our passports with Visa...Thanks God. Just in time for Noynoy's inauguration as the new President of our country and a day ahead for "Canada Day" come July 1st here in Canada...Im so excited to go back home....Thank you all guys...Just keep on praying and your time will come too...God Bless everyone.
