Waiting for Oath Invitation - VANCOUVER OFFICE Timelines

Update: Received citizenship certificates yesterday, I am surprised by the speed as we got it 3 days after we took our oath. No urgent processing requested. The Vancouver office is responsive so sending an email to the email address where you received a test invite might help in getting some details about your file.

That’s amazing! Congrats! I e-mailed them and got a reply within an hour that they are still reviewing my file. 16 months and counting now.

Yes, if that's the email you received your test invite from. I had written to them and they generally respond promptly.

Thanks! Most certainly. I checked the tracker in the morning, and got the email 20 ago.

Can anybody here tell me how long they had to wait to be scheduled for an oath ceremony after submitting scanned copies of their passport to IRCC?

Nothing in spam, of course. Any ideas? Submitted a web form. Tried calling CIC but their phone lines just say they are too busy and hang up.

You can receive it up tp 3 days prior. I know it can be stressful waiting for the email. CIC phone lines...the trick is to try calling them repeatedly and also at different times of days - you should get through. Use options 11411 without waiting for full messages, after entering UCI. Thanks for the tips, and glad to hear up to 3 days before isn't unusual. Definitely stressful, but knowing that this can be routine and not indicative of a problem, is releiving. Cheers.
