No, I live in midtown Toronto I’m not really sure why I had to wait this long. Whenever I contacted IRCC they didn’t give me any details and also from my GCMS notes I wasn’t able to understand where the hold up was, except the security clearance section that was blank (so my guess is that they were doing some additional checks). For reference I’m not a refugee or protected person either.
Everything marked completed and waiting for Oath invitation since 29 May 2024, today I called IRCC told the agent if everything marked completed why there is a delay in sending me oath invitation, she replied nothing is required from my side, and there are some verifications is in process. My question what are those verifications after an application passed all requirement? Any idea?

that is what they are telling people when you call and everything is completed and all you are waiting on is oath ceremony. i was told that when i called a month after LPP was completed.

Hi All,
I am waiting for my oath ceremony. My wife and my LPP was updated on Sep 14, 2024. My 12 year old son's LPP and background verification are still in progress. If our LPP and background verification are completed, won't they be completed for my son as well? Do I need to do anything? I will appreciate your feedback please.
