I have completed spent times living (1460 days) in Canada this end of December. I am curious, should I wait for getting immigration official letter before applying Citizenship or will applying it myself after 1460 days?
As far as I know, CIC never sends an official letter to any one on being eligible for citizenship. The individual in this case, you, would need to determine your eligibility and apply proactively instead of waiting for an invite letter.

You will not get any letters from IRCC. If you calculated correctly, and you are sure that you have 1460 days of physical residence in Canada during the last 6 years and at least 183 days of physical residence for each of the last 4 years than you should apply. You can be sure of your numbers by using the calculator on IRCC's website. It will tell you exactly if you are in good shape or if you need more days.
You will have to complete this calculator anyways, sign it and send it with your application
