Hi all, I would like to know what happens when a permanent resident gets married to a US resident before applying for a Canadian citizenship. Will it affect my application? Or should I wait and should marry after applying for citizenship. Thank you so much for your advise

It’s the best question of the day!
Couples usually go for a honeymoon after their wedding. When you return, you could apply; it won’t affect your application.
If your partner could wait for a couple of years; you could apply, become a citizen and marry a USA resident.
