Waiting for Admission letter, not much time left for visa :-(

i have applied for January 2012 session for M.Eng in electrical n computer engineering in University of Manitoba, its been 40 days n i didn't receive my admission letter.

as u all know that visa processing time is minimum 2.5 weeks and i don't have much time left for applying for visa.. so what should i do now?

1) deffer my course for may 2012 session after getting admission letter?
2) or if i get admission letter within 1 week than should i apply for visa?

senior members plz reply.

Hi,


Apply for visa (if still with in deadline!), if required embassy shall ask you to submit letter of deferral up to next possible intake. You shall get such request ONLY if everything is ok with your Visa application. The same thing happen in my case.

please inform me if their is a need to find the supervisor for the meng program for electrical and computer Eng in the university of Manitoba.
Please also tell me if we need to talk to the supervisor before applying at the university.

Pleas help me on this as i need to apply for the admissions as early as possible.
