I'm april 2017 applicant
Did medical on feb 2018
And after that got pre arrival email
But when we contacted mp and VO they said they're reviewing if i meet eligibile and bgc has not started yet so does any one have an idea about it
This process took about 15months for me and bgc has not started yet but i got pre arrival!!!
Plz some one help

it took exactly 5months 30days. (6months post AOR).
 
does 'eligibility recommend pass' means that the case has gone past the R10 check?

As far as I understand, eligibility is different than the background/criminal checks.

Dont worry, application is yours and not the consultants... You are paying them for service nothing more, they do not own your application...

You can speak with the IRCC call center agent. You need to have patience(that's the most important thing) because you may have to call multiple times. You need to have your Application#, UCI#(they may ask for additional verification) handy.

- Telephone: 1-888-242-2100 (in Canada only)
- Telephone: 1-613 944 4000 (Outside Canada)

Client Support Centre agents - Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., your local time, except for statutory holidays. Services are available in French and English. These are local Cansda

No one can say but it depends greatly on the office that processes your application
