Without the GCMS notes, all I can say is that your security or BGC is in progress. You are almost close to the finish line. However, this is what I can say from what you have provided and given that your eligibility is passed.

@legalfalcon and all the experts! I'm in IP2 since June 13th and still waiting.... I saw that CIC has started to call people's employers to get the reference letter verified. I worked at a large bank and it was really a huge struggle to even get the reference letter. In the end it worked out but the bank mentioned that if someone calls they are not allowed to give any information through the phone. So now I'm thinking, if CIC calls my employer and they refuse giving any information or confirmation, would that be a problem? Or what would happen in that case?

That's why you apply through a third party (such as getgcms). They are a corporation currently present in Canada, and you will authorize them (via a signed consent form) to make this request on your behalf.
You can also ask a friend or relative who is in Canada to make this request for you - again, you'll need to authorize them to receive the data.

If your company has a policy not to disclose about employees, that is fine and it will not impact your applications. IRCC has other ways to get the information. And this is only when IRCC contacts your employer. They do not contact all employers of all applicants, only those where there is a concern or a red flag.
