I don't know. But I don't think you categorized yourself correctly in this forum. The category FAM (stands for family) is for when you sponsor your parents to settle in Canada (permanently). But I am not certain.

The information on my profile pertains to spousal sponsorship. In this forum, I am referring to my parent's TRV.

Hi Guys,

Anyone from India is facing delay for getting TRV currently ? Because I have applied through VFS to go to my office in canada for Business purpose on June 28th 2016 but still there is no update . Still Under processing !!! Its really frustrating , in CIC its showing as 32 days . Do i need to wait for another 3 weeks ?

I've applied for my parents under super visa category, no request for the passport yet (online Application). Is there anyone else with the same timeline?

Medical passed 12th July

Yes,Unfortunately you will have to wait for 32 days..
Due to a huge back log.

Do note that the processing time stated is for about 80% of the applications. Not that I want to make you worry, but you have to prepare that your application might take even longer than 32 days. I would say 40-45 days is a more realistic timeline.

I had submitted a paper application via VFS Hyderabad on 5th July for my parents (Visitor VISA to attend wedding of nephew). I also linked the paper application to my online CIC account. I just noticed today that the application has been closed and the Final Decision says that it has been approved!

Since I had submitted a paper application, they already have the passports. Does anyone have an idea how long will it take for them to stamp and send the same back to us? My parents leave on 8th August.

Yes, got visa for myself and for wife, multiple till validity of passports.

What worries us is that we made a mistake last year and we got a refusal saying we didn't provide truthful information.
Now this time we mentioned everything ... but will they hold a grudge and refuse based on the fact that we unintentionally lied last time?
This is really stressing me out...

Hi,

If you submitted a paper application then you can link it to your online account for updates.

The visa officer will consider the previous refusal. However, as you've mentioned all the facts truthfully this time + if you've proved her strong ties/finances.... you can expect an approval
