Visitors Visa Denied for Family and friend

Hi. A family member just recently Applied to get a visitors visa. The final decision was that she did not met the country’s requirements to visit Canada. Weeks later a friend of mine, also applied and he gets the same response.
My question: Is there any possibility that those visas were rejected due to a problem in my visa? I’m international student in the middle of my program of studies

Others can comment but doubt a problem with your visa but more likely their case presented was not convincing on why they needed to visit you. Without knowing the exact reasons for rejection and some details of their application impossible to do more than speculate .
