Have you got any updates

No updates till now. I want to ask that should I reapply or still wait for the decision? I have applied trv for language workshop, so please suggest me should I reapply or not??

Has anyone received approvals for visitor visas with just tourism as purpose recently now that they have announced that from Sept 7th, any vaccinated person can travel to Canada with valid visa ?

Note: I had $18,000 for 1 month visit; I'm gov't employed; purpose was to write an exam in Quebec (asked by the Quebec gov't).

UCI/Biometric updated
Background Check...

They have said that when you enter 2nd application then your first application will withdraw automatically. In your case they are still processing first application. What they are doing???

I'm trying to apply for my brother to come here for tourism. So he's an extended family member.. what are some of the reasons or purpose that you have included? His purpose here really is for tourism especially this coming winter season..i just want to gather some ideas.

I have submitted the trv file in December 2020 and biometrics in august 2021,till now no update and I am going to Canada for a workshop which is in December so please suggest me what should I do? I have fill webform or reapply?? Please advise me

I'm just wondering if they're processing any TRV applications for non-family members and tourism purposes at this moment.
Based on all the responses I see on this forum, even apps for family members are a pain right now, I can't imagine what it's like for non-fam members AND tourism as the purpose.

They issued one to someone who submitted an application before September 7 to visit for tourism purposes.
