Visitor visa to work permit

Hi all,

Now say my wife is PR in canada and I am also in canada on visitor visa with her and after applying my PR from inside canada can I work or apply for work permit ? Any way to apply for work permit while my PR application in process ?

So you have applied for an inland spouse PR sponsorship ? If you made an inland application then you can apply for an open work permit as part of that application, you cannot work until that permit has been approved.

Thanks mate it says it takes around 5 weeks to get approved

Actually usually takes longer. 2-4 months but often closer to 4 months.
