I have applied for PR sponsorship for my spouse since the processing time for application was showing 23 months.
We decided to apply for a visitor application as well. My spouse's visitor application has been approved. We got the passport submission request and medical request for the spousal sponsorship on the same day. She did the medical and submitted her passports. I have the following question:
Would she need to go back and come back, if her PR application got approved while she is here in Canada?
Can we submit her passport here at VFS Canada and receive COPR?

Not guaranteed though so don’t make any formal plans until you know whether you get approved for a TRV. Most wre denied before Covid and now there is a better chance but a large percentage still get denied.
