we submitted our (paper) application March 16 @ VFS Hyderabad and PP was dispatched April 4.

Our application was paper application.. after two weeks I linked my application and it was in process.. couple days later changed to approved.. i can track pp now..

Applied for Visiting Visa for Canada from India online on 10th Mar'17 and got an update on 12th Mar'17 that my application got submitted.

No, you cannot go directly to the ND visa office for your TRV stamping. You must submit your passport to VFS..
It does not take 10-15 days for visa stamping/passport transmission. One week is more like it. If you have booked your tickets, you must include copies of the tickets + a request to the visa office for expedited visa stamping when you submit your passport

I got PPR for my parents, application submitted online on 14 March 2017.
I had no hope of approval as documents were not so strong. Funds were deposited just 5-6 days before the application was submitted. We only provided 1 month statements for me and my parents. My parents did travel to Australia in 2006 for 3 weeks.
