I received an email today stating "We updated your application status". Then for the action, it says "Action required" but it doesn't seem like anything is new. It just changed the Review of Eligibility to today's date (April 22, 2025).

I got the same mail today at 4 pm. Do you think we'll get dispatch mail tomorrow morning?

I applied for my father's visitor visa. Passport is in transit to the ircc office. For the ones who have received the stamp passport for a visitor visa, is it a multi entry visit for 10 years? Or is it one time visa for shorter period thats being given?

Passport reached IRCC on April 3rd

I received a notification from VFS Global that it reached the IRCC office on Thu Apr 03 2025. IRCC portal has not updated since March 19, asking for the passport. (Hyderabad office to Delhi)

Passport reached IRCC on April 3rd
Dispatch mail on April 24th

What type of visa was it?

Visitor visa application :-

Application submitted- March 21st
Got approval (PPR)- April 8th
Passport submitted to IRCC- April 10th
Passport stamping at IRCC office - April 14th( status showing as in progress)

There is no way you will get your passport back before the US visa appointment slot. Your only option is to rebook the slot in canada for your USA visa. My passport is in process at ircc delhi since 3rd april and have no updates yet.

Does your IRCC portal show any update after "Your application was approved. You need to send us your valid passport to finalize your application." ??

I submitted my passport on April 23rd at New Delhi VAC. I received the notification from VFS that it reached IRCC on April 24th morning, but no other communication yet.

Can anyone help me with the documents require for immigration once we get our visa stamping on passport for SOWP? Like for study permit we have port of entry letter does SOWP have anything like it?
